Chair Six is available on iPhone and iPad running iOS 26.4 or later. A Mac version is also available. For the best GPS tracking experience we recommend using an iPhone on the mountain.

Tap the green START button on the Track tab. Chair Six records your speed, altitude, vertical feet, and route in real time. Tracking continues when your phone is locked in your pocket. Tap STOP when you're done and share your session to your feed.

Go to iPhone Settings → Chair Six → Location → While Using the App. Also make sure Low Power Mode is off — it can throttle GPS updates and pause background location.

Speed and vertical are derived from your phone's GPS and are approximate. Accuracy depends on satellite reception and terrain. Chair Six uses a chairlift filter to automatically exclude slow lift rides from your stats. Do not rely on this data for safety decisions.

You control this in Profile → Privacy Settings. Options are Everyone, Followers, Friends Only, or Just Me (fully private). This controls who can see which resort you're at and your position on the trail map.

Go to Profile → Delete Account. Type your username to confirm. This permanently removes your profile, sessions, messages, and follows. Posts you made will remain but show as "[deleted]".

Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Chair Six and ensure notifications are allowed. Also check in-app notification settings under Profile → Notification Settings. Try signing out and back in to refresh your push token.

Tap the ⋯ menu on any post or profile and select Report. The content is hidden from your feed immediately and reviewed by our team. You can also block users from the same menu.

Chair Six includes 5,000+ resorts from OpenStreetMap. If yours is missing, contact us with the resort name and country and we'll add it in the next update.
